«Masterpieces of World Classical Music» Concert
The Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre will host a unique week-long master class led by Barbara Frittoli, one of the most refined and distinguished sopranos of our time. Renowned for her celebrated «silken timbre», she is also the favored singer of maestro Riccardo Muti.
The organization of Barbara Frittoli’s master class represents a continuation of the theatre’s long-term strategic development and stands as a testament to the high level of trust placed in the institution by the international professional community.
The master class will span seven days. The program includes work on the following operatic roles:
Mimì (La Bohème, G. Puccini),
Cinderella (La Cenerentola, G. Rossini),
Adina (L’elisir d’amore, G. Donizetti),
Nedda (Pagliacci, R. Leoncavallo),
Leonora (Il Trovatore, G. Verdi),
Gilda (Rigoletto, G. Verdi).
The schedule is designed to ensure that each participant receives 45 to 60 minutes of individual coaching per day, while also allowing them to observe the work of fellow artists throughout the day.
At the conclusion of the week, every participant will receive a diploma signed by Barbara Frittoli and take part in the concert «Masterpieces of World Classical Music.»
