Staged Reading of the Play «The Buddha Tree’s Seed»
These stories form a mosaic of brief confessions, memories, and reflections on love.
There is no single plotline - instead, the play unfolds through dozens of separate stories: sometimes funny, sometimes painful, sometimes absurd, but always deeply personal.
They are raw, honest, alive - and though different in tone, they all explore the same thing:
what a person feels when they encounter love, and what happens when love fades, never comes, or turns out to be something else entirely.
Someone speaks of the pain of living beside a person who loves someone else - and comforting them, knowing full well you are not the one they love.
Someone recalls their first crush: the silence, the awkwardness, the shame, the misunderstandings, the goodbyes, and the loneliness.
Someone remembers trying to grow a tree from an avocado seed - a symbol of their relationship. Or how an ex promised to travel with them to Sri Lanka… but went there with someone else.
