In the fast pace of urban life, amidst the rush of modern civilization, more and more city dwellers are choosing to use a foreign language not only outside their homes but within their own families. This habit is giving rise to a generation growing estranged from its roots, a trend that has rightfully caused deep concern in society.
If the homeland begins at the hearth, then what a tragedy it is when a single family cannot speak in their own tongue and resorts to a language that is not theirs!
«Those Who Find a Common Language» is a light-hearted comedy about Äpke, a woman from the countryside, who finding herself in all sorts of humorous situations, tries to bring a young expectant mother’s mixed, distorted speech back to her native language, restoring the cradle of the nation’s future.
