Renowned virtuoso and passionate advocate for the art of violin playing Bagdat Abilkhanov is distinguished by his creative and thoughtful approach to repertoire selection. In the new season, he continues his concert series “Musical Alliance”, dedicated to the legacy of great composers and performers.
The first concert is a tribute to the genius of Niccolò Paganini, the legendary violinist and composer whose works — and even his name — have become synonymous with virtuosity.
Musicians of the orchestra will perform his complete cycle of 24 Caprices for solo violin (Op. 1), a monumental collection that allows performers to demonstrate both technical brilliance and deep artistic interpretation.
The project’s author is Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Bagdat Abilkhanov.
