Open Meeting with the Enlightened Yoga Master Shri Guru Swami Vishnudevananda Giri
Shri Guru Swami Vishnudevananda Giri is a spiritual teacher in the tradition of Advaita Vedanta and Yoga - a sadhu, a realised jnani master, philosopher, theologian, author, and a pilgrim-traveller. His disciples include both monastics and lay seekers from across Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Europe, the USA, India, Nepal, and beyond. He teaches Sanatana Dharma, the path of practical Vedanta, and the wisdom of Anuttara Tantra.
According to BBC, he is ranked among the top three most influential European-born Hindu sannyasis.
Author of over 50 books and hundreds of articles on yoga philosophy, his most significant and well-known works include: «The Radiance of Precious Secrets of Laya Yoga» (in two volumes), «Songs of the Awakened», «The Universe of the Jnani», «Spiritual Alchemy: The Path of Inner Asceticism», and «My Life in God.» He has delivered thousands of lectures on Vedanta, Yoga, Tantra, Metaphysics, and the mythological heritage of Sanatana Dharma.
He has undergone several extended retreats (tapasya) in seclusion - one lasting nearly three years. During his last retreat in 1993-1995, he attained samadhi and reached enlightenment.
His teachings encompass:
Jnana Yoga, Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Laya Yoga, Advaita Vedanta, and the Anuttara Tantra of the Siddhas.
