Promotion: During the holidays, admission to the museum in the halls of permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions (except for foreign exhibitions) is FREE for CHILDREN.
The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is hosting the exhibition «Artist of His Time» from April 11 to August 31, 2025, in honor of the 90th anniversary of Mikhail Antonyuk, one of the brightest representatives of monumental art in Kazakhstan.
The exhibition is a vibrant reflection of the artist's skill, who was not only an active participant in cultural life for over half a century but also an inspiration to entire generations. The display features works created in the traditions of Kazakh ornamentation, symbolizing a connection to folk motifs and the history of the steppe people. The paintings, mosaics, and stained glass by Mikhail Antonyuk are a kind of «celebration of color» filled with rhythm and the grandeur of composition.
