The year is 2032. London. The Regal Hotel, five stars. A luxurious suite on the sixth floor. A knock at the door…
That knock marked the beginning of a night that would forever change the lives of everyone in this play. Poupée, a call girl who styles herself as a «special consultant in the art of pleasure», had been invited to the suite of a wealthy, ageing businessman. Yet, as it happened, the night never reached the point of any pleasures. What did happen instead was a cascade of the extraordinary: life-threatening confessions and breathless chases, impossible journeys through a door that, by any normal law of physics, should have led to the neighbouring room, but instead transported a person to somewhere utterly unexpected; reunions with long-departed relatives; declarations of love to people not yet met; rescuing those teetering on the brink of falling from a balcony; and strolling through the hotel in the company of one’s own murderer’s corpse…
