Presentation of light puppets. Nikolai Zykov Theatre (Moscow) in Taraz
Nikolai (great-nephew of Sergei Obraztsov) is a world stage artist who has captivated audiences in more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, creating more than 200 unique marionettes, glove puppets, cane puppets and experimental puppets. Nikolai is the author, director, artist and performer of more than 20 puppet shows, which have won numerous international awards for innovative creativity and outstanding performance skills, including awards from the UNIMA World Puppet Congresses.
In this performance, each puppet is completely unique and unusual. To match Bach's great music, only puppets are included, which in themselves are unique achievements in their own art form. Right before the audience's eyes, unique lighting structures made of electroluminescent wires and different types of LEDs are created and come to life, which then easily float above the stage and the auditorium. In this performance, the audience will also see some of the most complex puppets, created using completely new materials and technologies, the animation of which also requires the highest skill from the performer.
