This is a touching story about the fragility of the human heart and the power of love - a power capable of melting even the thickest ice.

A wicked troll creates a magic mirror whose shards scatter across the world, turning good into evil. One of these splinters pierces the heart of a boy named Kai, and his soul becomes encased in frost. The Snow Queen carries him away to her icy realm, and brave Gerda sets out to find her foster brother.

On her journey, Gerda meets an array of wonderful characters: the Flower Witch, the wise Raven, the kind Prince and Princess, the fearsome Robber Girl, and the noble Reindeer. Each of them helps her take one more step towards a miracle, reminding us that true friendship and faith can overcome any trial and warm even the coldest heart.

The production blends puppet animation, live acting, lighting effects, dance, and music - creating a truly magical winter world on stage.

After the performance, the celebration continues! By the New Year tree, the audience will be greeted by Father Frost’s cheerful gnome helpers. They will show the Snow Queen how to have fun and celebrate the New Year! A lively festive programme with games, songs, and little wonders will begin - and, of course, everyone’s beloved Father Frost and Snow Maiden will join the merriment.
