The Legend of Akan Seri
The production draws inspiration from several literary sources: Saken Zhunusov’s novel Akan Seri, Magzhan Zhumabayev’s essay Akan Seri, Mukhtar Auezov’s play Akan and Zaira, as well as Akan Qoramsauly’s own poems. Alongside true events from Akan Seri’s life, the performance also reflects the creative team’s personal vision and interpretation of the legendary poet and artist.
