Interland – The Country of the Internet

In today’s world, it’s hard to find anyone untouched by the influence of the Internet, especially among the younger generation. Many children spend more time in virtual reality, forgetting about the beauty of real life. The story follows Grandfather and his granddaughter Balakai. Grandfather tries to interest her with crafts, books, and games, but the girl prefers her gadgets.

One day, she suddenly finds herself inside the virtual world, where she meets the cheerful characters Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. At first, everything seems fun and exciting, but soon the colourful world starts to feel empty and lonely. Just when it seems there’s no way out, she remembers her grandfather’s words: «Believe in yourself!»

This heartfelt performance invites young audiences to discover the golden balance between the real and the virtual and to stay true to themselves, no matter what world they find themselves in.
