An Apple Tree

At the heart of this drama is a family of brothers and sisters, each of whom has grown up and achieved a certain status in life. Maksat, a brother living with a disability, brings the entire family together to celebrate their mother Dametken’s birthday. However, old grievances and present-day social differences quickly surface, leading to heated arguments and conflicts among the siblings. Consumed by their disputes, they pay little attention to their mother or to Maksat’s attempts to restore peace. When his pain and despair go unheard, the story reaches a tragic and irreversible turning point.
