The concert “P.I. Tchaikovsky: From Romance to Opera”, dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the great Russian composer, will be presented by the soloists of the Astana Opera House.

Tchaikovsky is one of the five composers who form the undisputed Olympus of humanity’s centuries-old musical culture, alongside Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin. It is estimated that every six minutes, a work by Tchaikovsky is performed somewhere in the world. This concert will be no exception. Through their performances, the artists pay tribute to the great composer, a profound connoisseur of the human soul.

The concert programme includes romances (Reconciliation, Amid the Din of the Ball, Tell Me, What in the Shade of the Branches, It Was in the Early Spring, On the Golden Cornfields, Exploit, Don Juan’s Serenade, and others), as well as arias and scenes from the operas Eugene Onegin, Iolanta and The Queen of Spades.

We are confident that the concert will bring audiences vivid emotions and inspiration!
