FORTE TRIO. An Evening of Classical Music

The State Ensemble FORTE TRIO invites you to an evening dedicated to the 270th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the 120th anniversary of Dmitri Shostakovich.

The State Trio FORTE TRIO is one of Kazakhstan’s leading chamber ensembles, widely recognized both nationally and internationally. The ensemble was founded by the renowned pianist and professor Timur Urmancheev. The trio brings together outstanding performers: pianist Timur Urmancheev, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, and prizewinners of national and international competitions - cellist Murat Narbekov and violinist Maksat Dzhussupov. Thanks to their exceptional professionalism, broad repertoire, and refined ensemble sound, FORTE TRIO is rightfully regarded as one of the brightest representatives of Kazakhstan’s academic music scene.

This evening will feature significant chamber works by Dmitri Shostakovich, compositions in which his artistic individuality is revealed with particular clarity. These works reflect his distinctive musical language - a fusion of dramatic depth, intellectual intensity, and bold innovative ideas. Shostakovich’s music unveils the complexity of his inner world and remains a strikingly modern artistic statement.
