From December 10 to December 28, 2025,

the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan presents the photo exhibition “Magnificent Xinjiang glorious journey”.

The Xinhua News Agency is supporting the organisation of this exhibition, which presents a large documentary collection of photographs illustrating the development of one of China’s most dynamic regions.

Over the past seventy years, Xinjiang has undergone profound transformations — evolving from a complex and diverse territory into one of the country’s key economic, transport, and cultural centres.

The exhibition showcases natural landscapes, traditional cultural scenes, and contemporary photographic chronicles, allowing visitors to see Xinjiang as a region of rich cultural diversity, abundant natural resources, and rapid modernisation.

Every third Sunday of the month, admission is free of charge for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (except for international exhibitions).

During school holidays, entry to the permanent and temporary exhibitions (excluding international exhibitions) is free for children.

Includes access to all permanent and temporary exhibition halls, except the Gold Halls and international exhibitions.

Category 2

Title: Museum Admission with the «Gold» Halls.
Includes the permanent exhibitions, temporary displays and the Gold Halls (excluding international exhibitions).

Category 3

Museum visit + 1 international exhibition (without the Gold Halls).
Includes the permanent exhibitions, temporary displays and one international exhibition (Gold Halls excluded).

Category 4

Museum visit + 1 international exhibition (with the Gold Halls).
Includes the permanent exhibitions, temporary displays, one international exhibition and the Gold Halls.
