Ballet Gala at Astana Ballet

Astana Ballet Theatre presents  «Ballet Gala» programme dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8, which promises the audience many discoveries and bright impressions. The programme will include fragments from the brightest productions for 11 years of the theatre's history.

The festive gala concert is the magic of dance, fireworks of emotions and incredible skill of the artists! Such an evening is ideal for both regular spectators who wish to immerse themselves in the best moments of their favourite productions in one evening, and for the first acquaintance with the theatre's productions. The audience will be treated to a cascade of virtuoso solo, duet and mass ballet numbers against a backdrop of colourful costumes and scenery.

The evening's programme will feature excerpts from cult classical and neoclassical productions - La Bayadère, Shaherezade, Romeo and Juliet, Spartacus and many others; a ballet by Brazilian choreographer Ricardo Amarante - Love Fear Loss; author's and national ballets; as well as choreographic miniatures from concert programmes.
