POTTERY - Subscription for schoolchildren aged 6 to 17

Subscription «Pottery» - 8 lessons

Would you like your child to work on a real potter’s wheel? An 8-lesson subscription is a hands-on introduction to this craft, where every class brings a tangible result and a new creation.

Children will learn the basics:

hand positioning and centring clay;

pulling up the walls, trimming and burnishing.

Within a month, they will create a whole collection: a mug, bowl, plate, vase, dish or candlestick.
Successful works are fired and decorated - the child takes home their very first ceramics, handmade with pride.

Tuesday, Thursday: 10:45, 11:30

Saturday, Sunday: 16:00, 17:00, 18:00

Duration: 45 minutes

8 lessons provide a confident start, after which students may continue with a year-long programme and even take part in the studio’s final exhibition.
Assignments are tailored to each child’s age and clay-handling experience.

Course «Fundamentals of Pottery» - 12 lessons, Certificate awarded

This course is a full journey into the art of pottery. Over 12 lessons, children explore the material, master the potter’s wheel, and create a collection of works to take home.

The programme includes:

· mastering the basics of working with clay, centring, and hand positioning;

· making simple forms (saucer, bowl, mug, small pot);

· progressing to more complex items (vase, jug, goblet, candlestick);

· introduction to decoration: stamps, moulds, engobes, marbling, and the «wrinkled ceramics» technique;

· a final creative project based on their own design.

All lessons are held in the workshop: clay, tools, glazes, paints, and firing are included.

Duration: 45 minutes

Upon completion, participants receive a «Fundamentals of Pottery» Certificate, and their works may be presented at the studio exhibition. After the course, students can continue in year-long ceramic and sculpture programmes.
