The Murakami Group in Semey

The rock band Murakami is embarking on a tour across Kazakhstan with their new programme «The Favourites». A loud title with an unknown setlist - this is a series of concerts by request, where the songs for the show are chosen by the fans themselves.

«The Favourites tour is when everyone in the audience feels like they created the concert’s setlist. We’ll ask our listeners which songs they want to hear, read every comment, and together we’ll build the perfect tracklist. The audience will hear their favourite songs, and Murakami will travel to their favourite cities. That’s the kind of heartfelt exchange awaiting us this autumn!»

Murakami never stands still: they’re creating new concert shows, preparing a new album for release, and their touring schedule is already booked a year ahead. The band isn’t afraid of experiments - their music ranges from tender lyrical ballads to powerful rock anthems. And most importantly, for more than 20 years, Murakami have been writing rock songs about love - many of which are featured in their 12 studio albums, a live album, and the compilation «XX Years. The Best.»
