Chamber Music from the Silver Age to the Present

Concerts by the State Trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan FORTE-TRIO, at the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera have long been recognized and loved by classical music enthusiasts.

The repertoire of FORTE-TRIO is striking in its diversity: from the exquisite music of the Baroque era to modern compositions, from classical masterpieces to jazz. This allows the ensemble to attract a wide audience, revealing new facets of musical art to listeners.

In the spring season, FORTE-TRIO dedicates its performance to the works of the great Russian composers: Sergei Rachmaninoff, Anton Arensky and Dmitri Shostakovich. These names symbolise the pinnacle of Russian classical music, and their works are true masterpieces—technically challenging and deeply emotional.

Sergei Rachmaninoff – a composer whose music is distinguished by romantic passion, lyricism and virtuosity. His chamber compositions are always a highlight of concert programmes.

Anton Arensky – a master of chamber music, combining elegance and melody with deep drama.

Dmitri Shostakovich – one of the most significant composers of the 20th century, whose music reflects complex historical and personal experiences, yet remains profoundly human.

FORTE-TRIO continues to inspire audiences and introduce them to the treasures of world musical culture. This concert is another step toward making classical music more accessible and understandable to everyone.
