Carlo Mo «eMe»
A joint project by the theatrical company Total Theatre and Theatre for My Little Bird presents:
«eMe»
On 20 September, you have a unique opportunity to witness a poetic and deeply moving performance by Spanish clown and actor Carlo Mo.
Carlo Mo’s physical comedy is far more than mere laughter. It is a universal, graceful, and otherworldly language of the body, capable of telling the most intimate stories - of farewell, loneliness, pain, and overcoming.
Born of pure physicality and imagination, this performance is an exploration of human vulnerability and the thirst for life.
After the music of Mahler fades, Carlo Mo appears on stage, balanced on crutches, as if legless - a figure resembling the letter «M.»
From this image begins a silent journey, where the artist, without uttering a single word, conveys through body and gesture the simple longing to be happy and to simply live.
«Far from words - gestures. They make the emotion speak,» - Carlo Mo.
«He is extraordinary! Pure pantomime! Clown poetry in motion. The simplest things turn out to be the most beautiful. Emotion after emotion, and you find yourself falling in love with this character, so full of shipwrecks and life!»
- Mar Macarena, Director of Almazen Theatre (Barcelona)
