Kenes Düysekeev: «Sälem Sağan, Tuğan El»

Qazaqconcert invites you to an evening titled «Sälem Sağan, Tuğan El», dedicated to the work of composer Kenes Düysekeev - Honored Worker of the Arts of Kazakhstan and recipient of the Parasat and Qurmet Orders.

The concert program will feature the composer’s renowned works, cherished by audiences for their sincerity and emotional depth. The evening offers a glimpse into his profound contribution to the development of national art and the rich, multifaceted creative journey of a true master.

Kenes Düysekeev is an outstanding composer whose distinctive works have become part of the golden heritage of Kazakh musical culture. His music is marked by a subtle fusion of national spirit and a modern musical language. Among his legacy are the symphony «Tolğau», the symphonic poem-painting «Jalañtös Batyr», the cantata «O, Düniye», the romance cycle «Jyl Mezgilderi», as well as widely celebrated songs such as «Jan Äke», «Qarağym-ai», «Sälem Sağan, Tuğan El», «Ökinbe Sen», «Ğashyqtar Jyry», and other works that have become classics.

In addition, Kenes Düysekeev is the author of the musicals «Mädi» and «Aqqu Jibek», the operetta «Aldar Köse», a symphony-concerto, concertos for various instruments, works for chamber orchestra, and more than two hundred songs.
