Retro Concert of the Pop & Wind Orchestra

On January 27, the Philharmonic will host a concert by the Pop & Wind Orchestra, dedicated to two landmark anniversaries: the 105th birthday of the outstanding composer, People’s Artist of the USSR Arno Babajanian, and the 100th birthday of the legendary Soviet pop and film composer Alexander Zatsepin.

The Orchestra’s Artistic Director and Principal Conductor is Ernazar Urazalin.

That evening, the celebrated works of both composers will be performed in fresh, contemporary orchestral arrangements, immersing the audience in a world of beautiful music. The program will feature the Chamber Choir (Choirmaster Galina Kolesnikova, «Excellence in Culture» award recipient), the «Gakku» Dance Ensemble (led by Gulmira Ordabayeva, «Excellence in Culture» award recipient), as well as the Philharmonic’s soloists.
