An Evening of Symphonic Music
The Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra of Qazaqconcert invites you to an unforgettable concert featuring internationally acclaimed guest soloists.
Taking the stage are the outstanding Spanish musician, conductor, pianist, and composer Manuel Tévar, and award-winning pianist Makpal Kabden.
Manuel Tévar is a recipient of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando Award and First Prize winner of the Bradshaw & Buono Competition (New York). He has performed with leading orchestras across Europe and conducted at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Rudolfinum, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin Philharmonie, and Madrid’s National Auditorium. Tévar is a versatile musician whose interpretations are distinguished by artistic finesse and expressive freedom.
Makpal Kabden represents a new generation of Kazakhstan’s piano school. A graduate of renowned music academies in Paris, she successfully balances her solo performance career with teaching. Her concert tours have taken her to France, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries. Her repertoire spans classical masterpieces and vivid works of the 20th century - from Mendelssohn to Ravel and Prokofiev. She has performed with major orchestras in Kazakhstan and neighbouring countries, earning praise from critics for her musicality and style.
