The play «My Friend»

A performance for one actor and a drummer about friendship and loneliness. Mono-performance «My Friend» in ARTLAB.

The rhythmic text of the Belarusian playwright Konstantin Steshik combined with the live sound of drums create a musical performance about the possibility of dialogue between people. This story, partly reminiscent of both the Odyssey and the Divine Comedy, but taking place in the scenery of the night yards of a bedroom neighbourhood of the most ordinary city, will take us through the routine tragedies of people that a man and his friend will meet on their way.
