From October 18 to 20, 2025, the Vienna Strauss Philharmonie Orchestra will embark on its first-ever tour of Kazakhstan, giving two dazzling concerts in Almaty and Astana. The ensemble will present a brilliant programme featuring works by Mozart, Brahms, Haydn, Dvořák, Rossini, and, of course, the illustrious Strauss dynasty. Founded in 2014 by Gerald Grünbacher - the creator of the world-renowned Mozart Orchestra (Vienna, Austria) - the orchestra brings the finest traditions of Viennese classical music to international audiences. The principal conductor is András László Deák, a charismatic and highly accomplished maestro with a long-standing, successful career.

For this special tour, 27 musicians from Austria, Hungary, Japan, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Taiwan, Croatia, and Cyprus have been handpicked by an expert jury. The orchestra is dedicated to preserving and promoting Viennese musical culture both across Europe and on the global stage. Maestro Deák will lead both halves of the concert with his trademark passion and electrifying presence.
