Every third Sunday of the month entrance to the museum for residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan is FREE (except for foreign exhibitions)

Promotion: During the holidays, admission to the museum in the halls of permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions (except for foreign exhibitions) is FREE for CHILDREN.

From October 22, 2025, to January 25, 2026, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the international exhibition “Imprint of Civilization: Selected Artwares of Ancient China” from the collections of the Tianjin Museum (People’s Republic of China).

The exhibition presents the rich cultural heritage of China through unique examples of ancient applied art. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire exquisite porcelain pieces, delicate carvings, masterpieces of traditional embroidery, as well as elements of Tianjin’s intangible cultural heritage. Each exhibit reflects the centuries-old history, artistic craftsmanship, and spiritual wealth of Chinese civilization.

• Only citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who belong to preferential categories are entitled to free or discounted admission to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
