The State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera” presents a children’s concert titled “Music Alemi” (“In the World of Music”), which will take place on 28 September at the Shymkent City Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Musicologists from the theatre will host the concert, engagingly introducing children to music, explaining different types of operatic voices—from soprano to bass. Soloists will perform popular romances and arias from the operas of M. Tulebayev, N. Tlendiyev, S. Mukhamedzhanov, G. Bizet, G. Verdi, G. Rossini, J. Offenbach, and others.

The orchestra artists will take children on a musical journey across various eras and countries, exploring the history of instruments and performing works by great composers such as L. Boccherini, J. Strauss, J.S. Bach, C. Saint-Saëns, E. Grieg, A. Zhubanov, Dauletkerey, and more.

We invite our young audience to discover the wonderful world of music alongside the artists of the Astana Opera House.
